To be able to enter into a state of mindfulness means you have gained the ability to rise above the ego and experience the Now. To me, that is not only incredibly rare, but also a miracle.
Not everyone desires to be present, which makes you and me a minority among the masses, but people are beginning to see that living the life of the ego is unfulfilling and lacking in meaning—people are waking up.
Observing yourself through mindfulness and penetrating the Now are mandatory skills one must master in the spiritual journey of awakening.
